Biomimicry Institute
Identity system developed for the Biomimicry Institute. I created a kinetic system that could change color for a variety of different situations. The logo was developed on the idea of a cell splitting or multiplying. Much like the idea of creating something new but as a new copy. This dual organic shape rolls back and fourth which creates energy and movement. The bright colors give it a nice fresh look with lots of open space to surround the form.
The pattern has been applied to the inside of the envelope and the front is nice and clean. The logo is displayed with contact information and the addressee in juxataposition of the organization. The front of the business cards have the pattern applied with the contact's name displayed on the front. On the back of the business card is the position of the employee and contact information is displayed and color coded by department. The pattern has been applied to the back of the letterhead so that when printed a ghost like image will show through. The front of the letterhead's color systems can vary and can make use of the small logo to indicate to the user where to start the letter.
