Emigre Book

A research project on the relationship between Emigre and it's creators. This was a forty page paper turned into a book based on the subject, Emigre. My research led to want to find a way to use Rudy Vanderlans daring using of grid and Zuzanna Licko's progressive typography without emulating their specific style. I made the grid system extremely flexible and simplified the typography to allow the images of their work to become more dominant.
