Liquorice Font
As a starting point in my process I made type out of many different kinds of candy. I found that red rope licorice was the easiest, most pliable substrate to use. As a result I created an entire alphabet out of licorice. I began vectoring each letter, making form adjustments to create the final typeface.
Ribbons Lettering Design
A lettering design inspired by a display face found in a 1950’s baking cookbook. It was designed using framework to insure consistency through out.
